Dr. Jessica Rhodes Dimmick is the president and founder of Hearing Doctors of Iowa and Hearing Doctors of Illinois, collectively known as Hearing Doctors of the Heartland. In private practice since 2012, Dr. Dimmick has turned compassionate patient care into advocacy efforts for those experiencing hearing loss and tinnitus. She has accumulated a specific depth of knowledge in the clinical assessment of hearing disorders, including hearing loss and tinnitus, with an emphasis on scenarios contributing to causation and tracking the progression of injury over time. Her specific experience is in the realm of injuries experienced by Veterans. Dr. Dimmick is an experienced and trusted evaluator of hearing loss and tinnitus cases with an emphasis in evaluation of military noise related hearing loss and tinnitus cases. In the pursuit of improved access to care for Veterans, Dr. Dimmick applied for Federal contracts to administer compensation and pension exams in 2016. Nearly 6,000 Veterans have been served by the Hearing Doctors of the Heartland network of practices since 2016.

As a doctor of audiology, Dr. Dimmick is an advocate for best practices in audiology and providing patients with quality treatment. Following the thorough assessment of a hearing disorder, establishing the ongoing needs of the patient and making short-term and long-term recommendations for treatment is Dr. Dimmick’s passion.

Dr. Dimmick was recognized in 2018 by Fortune, Entrepreneur, and O by Oprah magazine, as a leading woman in business in the Midwest. She is a graduate of Western Illinois University with a bachelor of science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. A doctorate of audiology degree was earned at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Dr. Dimmick is a fellow with the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA), as well as a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. She holds a license to practice audiology in Iowa and Illinois, as well as a license for Hearing Aid Dispensing in the State of Iowa. Dr. Dimmick avidly seeks continuing education and stays in tune with the latest developments in technology and rehabilitative services for the hearing impaired.
