Dr. Maureen Salinas, AuD
Dr. Maureen Salinas is an experienced audiologist dedicated to improving the quality of life for both children and adults. Born and raised in Clinton, Iowa, Dr. Salinas earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa, followed by a Master's Degree in Audiology from Western Illinois University. She later pursued her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) at the Arizona School of Health Sciences and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Dr. Salinas served for 36 years as an educational audiologist with Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where she specialized in audiology services for children within educational settings. She is passionate about providing customized audiology care and finding solutions that enhance her patients’ everyday lives. Dr. Salinas now brings her expertise to Hearing Doctors of Iowa.
Currently residing in Fort Dodge with her husband, Dr. Salinas enjoys spending time with family and friends outside of work.
