Oticon Reveal

Dual-AI Sound Processing
Personal Balance Point
Advanced Wireless Streaming

The Oticon Reveal is a rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid that uses a dual-AI system to keep speech clear while preserving the environmental sounds around you.

The Oticon Reveal is a rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid built around a dual-AI sound processing system, with one AI focused on speech and a second focused on the sounds around you. Instead of stripping away as much background sound as possible, it works toward a balance between clear conversation and awareness of your surroundings. We fit the Oticon Reveal at Hearing Doctors of Iowa and Hearing Doctors of Illinois.

How Reveal Finds Your Balance Point

Striking that balance takes more than turning noise reduction up or down. Reveal is the third generation of Oticon's AI-based technology, following Oticon More and Oticon Intent, and it pairs two processing systems that run at the same time. Speech AI works on voices, while Context AI decides which surrounding sounds are worth preserving, such as a car approaching from behind or a grandchild talking in the next room.

The two reassess the sound scene every two milliseconds and land on the setting Oticon calls your balance point. This processing is grouped under a feature named the Reveal AI Clarifier, which replaces the MoreSound Intelligence label used on earlier Oticon platforms.

Key Features of the Oticon Reveal

For patients who have felt that aggressive noise reduction makes listening feel closed in, these are the features worth understanding before a fitting.

  • Dual-AI Sound Processing: Speech and environmental sound are analyzed separately and then recombined, so conversation comes through clearly while you stay aware of what is happening around you.
  • 4D Sensor Technology: Built-in sensors read your head movement and listening situation first, then adjust how sound is processed to match what you are actually doing.
  • Reveal Optimizer: An updated feedback management system that reduces whistling and supports open or vented fittings, which keep your ears feeling less plugged.
  • Streaming Comfort: Automatically lowers surrounding sound while you stream calls, music, or podcasts, with the amount adjustable in the app or by our team.
  • Bluetooth LE Audio Connectivity: Streams from iPhone and Android devices, pairs quickly through Google Fast Pair, and works with Auracast, which delivers audio broadcast directly to you in public venues.
  • Rechargeable Power: Charges on a desktop charger or a portable travel charger, and the new Oticon CROS transmitter for single-sided hearing uses the same charging hardware.

Is the Oticon Reveal Right for You?

Reveal suits patients who want speech clarity without losing track of the room, particularly those who do well with open or vented fittings, those who have struggled with feedback in the past, and those who stream often from a phone or tablet. It is a less natural match for someone whose main goal is the strongest possible reduction of background noise, since Reveal is designed to preserve environmental sound rather than remove it. If that describes your listening priorities, a different processing strategy may serve you better, and we will say so.

As an independent practice, we fit technology from every major manufacturer and never lock the programming on your devices, so our recommendation is based on your test results rather than a sales quota. Every fitting is verified with real ear measurement, a probe microphone reading of the sound actually reaching your eardrum.
